Rumor: Walmart GTA 6 pre-orders may include a mystery bonus bag
A possible Walmart bonus has become the latest GTA VI pre-order rumour: a bag added to qualifying orders, with no confirmed contents. The evidence circulating publicly includes a photograph presented as internal fulfilment instructions, not a complete consumer offer. It should not be read as a guarantee that every Walmart customer will receive a gift.

What we could check directly
We inspected the images attached to [Nintendeal’s post](https://x.com/Nintendeal/status/2117050523006509208), which also contains shopping links and an advertising disclosure. One image appears to show a OneWalmart page instructing staff to pack a bonus bag with qualifying PS5 or Xbox Series X|S orders, subject to available stock. The image is real as a publicly posted photograph; its authenticity as a current Walmart instruction has not been independently established. [ForwardLeaks](https://x.com/ForwardLeaks/status/2117001826868551777) also circulated the claim, crediting another account. Those reposts are not multiple independent confirmations from the retailer.
A packing date is not early access to the game
The photographed instructions refer to November 12 in relation to distribution preparations. Even if authentic, an operational date on a staff page would not by itself establish a new public release date, permission to play early or a promise that all deliveries arrive that day. Likewise, labels associated with pickup and delivery do not settle every customer-facing condition. We cannot confidently expand this into a worldwide offer, assume that every order method qualifies or promise retroactive eligibility for an existing purchase. The limited-stock language is another reason not to describe the bag as universal.
The contents are still the missing part
[Insider Gaming’s November 1 report](https://insider-gaming.com/walmart-gta-6-preorder-bonus-bag/) describes the bag claim and says it contacted Walmart. The version checked for this article contains no response establishing the promotion’s contents or complete terms. There is consequently no basis to promise a map, poster, keyring, in-game currency or exclusive mission. The separate GameStop map rumour cannot be imported into a Walmart story simply because both concern pre-orders.
What buyers should wait for
A public retailer offer should make the eligible product, territory, order method, dates and stock limitations clear. Until that exists, the safe editorial conclusion is that a bonus is being reported, not that its value or availability is known. The choice of edition and platform still matters more than an unspecified extra.
