A free digital map arrives on launch day
Rockstar says the official site will add a printable GTA VI cover-art poster and a map of Leonida on November 19. The files are described as a free digital download, allowing players to print a reference beside the game or keep the map on another screen. The announcement does not say the download unlocks hidden locations, replaces the in-game map or contains every collectible. It is an official piece of launch material, not a guidebook or an interactive checklist.
The physical version is double-sided
A physical, double-sided version is planned for the Rockstar Store shortly after launch. Rockstar prices it at $0.99 by itself and says it will also be included free with any Rockstar Store purchase. That makes the poster inexpensive at list price, but the final checkout cost can depend on shipping, taxes and regional store support. “Shortly after launch” is not a fixed release date. Stock limits are also not described in the reviewed map announcement, so readers should avoid treating the poster as guaranteed indefinitely.
Do not confuse it with the Goodtime State collection
Rockstar has separately opened preorders for the Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, a premium merchandise set inspired by the fictional Macca the Gator television show. Its own Newswire page presents a broader collectible package. The 99-cent poster and free printable map are not evidence that the full premium set costs 99 cents. Keeping the offers separate matters because the same launch campaign now includes digital bonuses, low-cost print material and higher-priced collectibles. Their availability and contents follow different terms.
Why an official map still matters in 2026
Leonida has already been reconstructed extensively by fan communities from trailers and screenshots. Rockstar’s map will provide the first publisher-issued overview designed for the final launch campaign. It can confirm broad geography without necessarily revealing every road, interior or activity. The value is partly practical and partly archival. A double-sided poster recalls the printed maps associated with earlier GTA boxes, while the free file means the reference is not restricted to people who can order from the Rockstar Store.
