Vice Beach plans detail an October 26 start and a $650,000 Y Hotel agreement

Rockstar's planned Vice Beach installations now have a more detailed timetable. In a new October 22 report, GTAVice says documents obtained from Miami Beach schedule work on the pink sign and Muscle Beach for October 26–31, with activation planned for November 1. The same investigation describes a $650,000 agreement for the Y Hotel operation. These are reported planning and contractual details, not evidence that the installations are already complete or a total bill for the campaign.

October 26–31 works, with November 1 in the plans

According to GTAVice, the Vice Beach sign at Lummus Park is scheduled for installation between Monday, October 26 and Saturday, October 31. The report places it at 1130 Ocean Drive and describes a structure roughly 34 feet 5 inches wide and 6 feet 11 inches tall. The submitted plans identify November 1 as its activation date and January 1–15, 2027 as the removal window. That makes November 1 a planning milestone to watch, not a guarantee that every campaign element will open simultaneously.

Muscle Beach receives its own treatment

The reported gym plans cover bright pink paint on existing outdoor exercise equipment and Vice Beach decals on containers. GTAVice describes preparation, priming and an industrial epoxy finish, excluding handrails. Work is listed for the same October 26–31 window, between 6 PM and 3 AM, with activation planned for November 1. The report says the transformed gym is expected to remain through January 15, followed by restoration between January 27 and February 11. What the $650,000 agreement actually covers

For the hotel at 2201 Collins Avenue, GTAVice reports an agreement between Amplify Marketing Inc., acting for Rockstar, and owner 2201 Collins Propco LLC. It assigns $300,000 to facade signage, $150,000 to the Y logo and $200,000 to a beachfront activation. Crucially, the outlet describes these as contractual values allocated to components if city approval is refused, not a breakdown of what each sign costs to manufacture. Amplify is also responsible for expenses such as fabrication, installation, permits, upkeep, removal and repairs. Calling $650,000 the entire campaign cost would therefore be misleading.

The beach component extends beyond a large Y

The reported hotel plan replaces the W emblem on the spa terrace with a stylised Y and adds a large banner. A separate beachfront activation involves licensed operator Boucher Brothers and food-and-beverage provider Think Hospitality. The agreement lists possible branded items such as ice buckets, napkins, coasters, bottle openers and cups, subject to availability and approval. This is a proposed extension into normal beachfront service, not confirmation of a retail collection or a giveaway available to every visitor.

Different sites have different end dates

GTAVice describes the hotel's promotional period as October 15 through December 31, with removal obligations and later penalties. The sign and gym schedules extend into January, with restoration work beyond that for the gym. These dates should not be combined into one universal closing date for Vice Beach. The agreement also requires written city approval and allows individual elements to be cancelled if permits are refused. Our earlier article remains the background to the campaign; these new documents add specificity, while completed installations and any revised schedules will require subsequent confirmation.
