Miami Heat – Vice filming permits fuel GTA 6 commercial speculation

A production called Miami Heat - Vice is the latest clue being linked to GTA 6’s real-world promotion. GTAVice’s October 21 report reproduces a filming-permit extract describing sports cars, an Ocean Drive camera-car sequence and a commercial intended for social media. The proposed connection is plausible in the context of the Heat partnership, but the document shown does not name Rockstar or announce a GTA trailer.

What the reproduced permit actually says

The image identifies Miami Heat - Vice as a commercial, with social media selected under distribution and an estimated budget of $100,000. The scene notes describe filming on October 19 and 20, with October 21 as a rain date. They include moving vehicles on Ocean Drive, nighttime shots focused on taillights and parked sports cars outside the Avalon and Beacon hotels. Six picture vehicles, two vans and a U-crane camera car are listed. A planned schedule and an estimate are not proof that every shot occurred or that the final spend matched the budget.

Why the Heat connection is attracting attention

GTAVice identifies 305 Films as the production company and points to its previous work with the Miami Heat. The project name and location also fit the broader Vice City-themed basketball partnership already covered on this site. That context explains the speculation, but it cannot supply a missing client credit. Neither a shared word nor similar vehicles establishes that the six cars listed are the same promotional vehicles photographed earlier around Miami. Our previous car article concerned those sightings; this follow-up concerns a reported production schedule and what can reasonably be inferred from it.

An earlier Vice shoot adds context, not confirmation

The report also describes another 305 Films permit titled Vice, scheduled for October 5 to 7, with an estimated $75,000 budget and B-roll around Ocean Drive, Lummus Park and Muscle Beach. Those locations overlap the reported Vice Beach activation area. GTAVice links the two productions to the wider campaign, but this remains its interpretation of the paperwork. We have not verified a final video joining the shoots together, and the permit images should not be used to invent a release date or a finished narrative.

No new trailer has been established

A commercial production is not necessarily a game trailer, music video or gameplay demonstration. A social-media spot for a partner event would be another possible explanation, and the material does not settle that choice. The next meaningful evidence would be an attributable production announcement, a published film or a client credit. Until then, this is a clearly labelled analysis of a marketing lead, not a leak of GTA 6 content.
