O2 lists PS5 and GTA 6 bundles: full UK prices and the download-code catch
O2's UK store lists two PS5 and GTA 6 bundles, but the console's disc drive does not change the format of the included game. The advertised totals are £595.99 for the Digital Edition package and £644.99 for the console with a drive. Both listings describe a download code. For buyers, the full price and account restriction matter more than the headline deposit.

Start with the total, not the deposit
O2 lists £595.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition bundle, with an example of £145 upfront and £12.53 monthly over 36 months. Its disc-drive package is listed at £644.99, with £155 upfront and £13.61 monthly over the same term. Both examples advertise 0% APR. The difference between the stated totals is £49. The displayed monthly amounts are rounded, so the credit agreement and total payable are the appropriate references for the exact payment schedule.
A drive in the console does not put a disc in the box
The Digital Edition listing specifies an 825GB console; the other package describes a 1TB PS5 with a drive. O2 says GTA 6 is supplied as a download code in both. Its terms restrict redemption to a UK-registered PlayStation account. The listings describe preloading from November 12 and playing from November 19, which are different milestones. Buying hardware capable of reading discs therefore does not make this particular game entitlement a physical disc copy.
Financing remains a credit agreement
O2 makes its device plan subject to eligibility, status and credit checks for adults. A zero-interest offer should not be confused with automatic approval or a discount: it changes the timing of payment rather than removing the balance owed. Before committing, compare the complete package price against buying the same hardware and game separately. We have not surveyed competing retailers, so this article does not label either bundle the cheapest available option.
Three details to check at checkout
First, make sure the selected console is the model you intend to buy. Second, check that the game code is suitable for your account rather than assuming the box removes regional restrictions. Third, read the current delivery estimate and the final finance terms. A product illustration, an advertised preorder and a completed order are different things. Our reading of the public listings does not establish stock allocated to an individual customer or guarantee a delivery date.
Why this is separate from the game-only offer
Our earlier O2 article concerned the game rather than a console-and-game package. Comparing that deposit directly with these totals would mix different purchases. For the broader distinction between a box, a licence and a disc, see our ownership and preservation feature. Here the useful news is narrower: two listed hardware packages, with different hardware and prices, but the same digital delivery format for GTA 6.
