Vice City cars reach Miami streets in GTA 6 promotional campaign

Rockstar Actu reports six real vehicles restyled with GTA manufacturer badges, Leonida plates and Vice Beach Police markings. The campaign is not a vehicle-specification reveal.

Fictional car brands leave the screen

GTA 6's Miami promotion is moving beyond billboards. Rockstar Actu reports that six real cars have been restyled to resemble vehicles from the GTA universe, appearing around Miami and at a Key Biscayne car gathering. The details are recognisably in-world: Leonida registration plates, fictional manufacturer emblems and a Vice Beach Police livery. This is attributed reporting on a promotional operation, not an announcement of the game's complete vehicle roster. We inspected the report and its lead image, but have not independently documented the cars' movements or verified an official public appearance schedule.

A Testarossa and a Corvette with different identities

The outlet identifies a Ferrari Testarossa transformed into a Grotti Cheetah, with the familiar horse badge replaced by Grotti's rearing rabbit. Its paint shifts from pink to blue, echoing the campaign's palette, while a Leonida plate ties the physical car to the fictional setting. A Chevrolet Corvette C8 is described as an Invetero Coquette D10, wearing blue, purple and pink camouflage. The point of these conversions is the combination of recognisable silhouettes and fictional branding. The underlying real-world model and the GTA name are not interchangeable technical specifications.

Vice Beach Police joins the convoy

Rockstar Actu also describes a Lamborghini Huracan dressed as a Pegassi Tempesta in Vice Beach Police colours, with roof lights and red lighting beneath the body. A McLaren Senna takes on Progen Emerus branding, reportedly extending from the bonnet to the seat headrests. These are attention-grabbing physical displays. Neither a police decal nor working lights on a promotional vehicle establishes how that car will be obtained, used or encountered in GTA 6. The article does not provide a basis for predicting police pursuit behaviour or customisation options from those accessories.

The campaign also draws on GTA car culture

The other two conversions reported by the outlet are a Cadillac Eldorado presented as an Albany Manana and a Chevrolet Monte Carlo restyled as an Albany Buccaneer. Chrome model lettering, oversized wheels and a lowrider-inspired finish make these more than generic cars parked beside a logo. They refer to the fictional brands and customisation culture that GTA players already recognise. Readers should still separate the outlet's model identifications from a first-party confirmation of each vehicle's final name or availability in the new game.

A new chapter in Miami marketing, not a new gameplay reveal

The cars add a mobile, street-level element to the wider Miami campaign, alongside the Vice City blimp and the South Beach material covered in our earlier reporting. They also make the city's relationship with the fictional Vice City unusually tangible: vehicles inspired by real designs return to real streets wearing their fictional counterparts' badges. No public route, ticket arrangement or future appearance is established by the source reviewed here. This report remains labelled Rumor because the campaign attribution and detailed vehicle identifications rely on one specialist outlet, without an independently verified first-party announcement. The cover is Rockstar Actu's promotional-vehicle montage, not a screenshot from the game.
