TmarTn and Hollow show surprise GTA 6 creator packages — PR merchandise, not early copies
TmarTn and Hollow have published separate unboxing videos of GTA 6-themed packages they say were sent by Rockstar Games. The boxes contain Vice City-branded promotional merchandise, not a playable copy, review access or the $399.99 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection sold through Rockstar’s store. The public videos make the packages visible; Rockstar has not issued a Newswire announcement explaining the programme or naming every recipient.
SOURCE IMAGETwo creators published separate GTA 6 package videos
TmarTn posted that Rockstar Games had sent him a surprise GTA 6 package and linked to a 3-minute 28-second unboxing. Hollow subsequently published a separate 5-minute 26-second video titled ‘Rockstar Just Sent Me a GTA 6 Package,’ thanking Rockstar in the description. These are direct recipient accounts and visible unboxings, rather than an anonymous leak, although Rockstar has not published a matching announcement on its own channels.
What was reported inside TmarTn’s box
GTA BOOM’s inventory lists a pink-and-blue Rockstar cap, a T-shirt, stickers, an engraved Zippo lighter, a canvas bag featuring Macca the Gator and Chunkee the manatee, and a ‘Greetings from Rockstar’ card. The package uses the same Vice City tourism language and mascot imagery that now appears across Rockstar’s merchandise and campaign. The useful fact is the coordinated branding; the box does not disclose a new mechanic, soundtrack entry or release platform.
This is not an early copy or review build
Neither creator says the package contains GTA 6, a download code, a beta invitation or review access. The public material shows promotional goods. Claims that the shipment represents early access would therefore add something the sources do not say, and the global launch remains November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
It is also separate from the $399.99 Vice City Collection
Rockstar’s Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a public retail product with eleven listed items and the game sold separately. The creator package is a smaller PR shipment that is not listed for sale. Shared mascots and colours do not make the two boxes the same edition, and neither should be described as a traditional collector’s edition containing the game.
What the shipments say about the launch campaign
Creator packages turn physical objects into videos and social posts without requiring a new trailer. That makes them part of GTA 6’s marketing build-up, especially when established channels publish unboxings within hours of one another. It does not by itself prove a paid sponsorship, an embargo, favourable coverage or future preview access. Those questions require disclosures or programme terms that are not public here.
