GTA 6's TV trailer has a different edit: the changes reported by RockstarINTEL
GTA 6's launch trailer is circulating in a different television edit, according to RockstarINTEL. Its October 21 report points to a viewer recording from NBC and describes several shots running slightly longer while others disappear. The useful news is a change in the advertising cut, not a fourth trailer announcement, an extended gameplay presentation or proof of changes to the game itself.
SOURCE IMAGEWhere the television version was spotted
Lorenzo Jordan posted the recording on October 21, identifying the Knicks versus Sixers game on NBC as the broadcast he was watching. RockstarINTEL subsequently used his post to compare the commercial with the version released online. That is a useful provenance trail: the viewer records an airing, while the specialist outlet supplies the editorial comparison. Neither source should be described as a new Rockstar announcement explaining why the commercial was recut.
The shots reportedly given more time
RockstarINTEL identifies a longer view of Raul Bautista dancing after the first shower scene, followed by Lucia jumping onto an aircraft's landing gear. It also reports a slightly extended moment in which Jason nudges Lucia and she drops closer to the floor. Later, the sequence involving Jason reaching for a knife while in a chokehold reportedly runs longer, as does a very brief shot of Roxy dancing. These are described as extensions within familiar sequences, not a new mission demonstration. We have not measured their individual durations independently.
Other moments are omitted
The outlet says the television edit removes a later shot of Jason and Lucia kissing in the shower and a short view of Lucia's ankle tag. An edit can therefore show more of one moment while removing another. Calling it simply an extended trailer risks suggesting that the entire online version survives with extra material attached. Alternate cut is the clearer description. The report does not establish whether timing, audience, placement or another production decision explains the omissions; attributing them to censorship would go beyond the evidence.
A separate 60-second spot is also reported
RockstarINTEL also mentions a shorter, 60-second version with additional cuts, including opening footage. That should not be conflated with the alternative NBC edit. Television campaigns can use multiple lengths, so a recording's total runtime is not by itself evidence of a new reveal. A viewer's clip may also include the television around the commercial or miss the beginning. The safest comparison is between identified versions, not every upload labelled extended on social media.
What the different cut does not confirm
A few additional frames do not establish new controls, a playable activity or the final game's performance. They also do not answer the separate speculation about live-action filming in Miami. Those are different stories with different evidence. For now, the development is a new way of presenting the existing launch campaign on television. Our cover shows Lucia in the launch trailer as reproduced by RockstarINTEL, credited to Rockstar Games; it is an illustration of the campaign, not a claim that this still is exclusive to the NBC version.
