We checked the listing directly on September 9: the apparent difference is a time-zone conversion, while claims about other countries or Xbox require their own evidence.

Why November 18 on the page still means November 19 in France

The listing shows “18/11/2026 11:00 PM UTC”. Mainland France will be on Central European Time, UTC+1, on that date: adding one hour gives 00:00 on November 19. The same page’s shorter release-date field can therefore look a day earlier without announcing a different launch. This conversion applies to mainland France; readers elsewhere should convert the exact timestamp for their own location and consult their own Store region. The listing can still change before launch.

Preloading is listed, but it is not permission to start early

The French Store’s Standard and Ultimate edition descriptions both advertise preloading seven days in advance. That supports preparing the download ahead of release; it does not say the game becomes playable seven days early. We could not retrieve Rockstar’s linked pre-order support page during this check, so we are not independently confirming the exact preload opening hour reported elsewhere. Nor do these sources establish the final installation size. Check the purchased edition’s download screen near launch rather than estimating storage from map size or trailer footage.

The New Zealand shortcut is not a simple PlayStation setting

GTA BOOM’s updated regional report places New Zealand ahead of Europe, which explains the renewed interest in region-switching. Sony’s own support page is the important constraint: an account’s country or region cannot be changed after creation, and it should match the billing information. Voucher codes must also match the account region. Changing a console clock is not the same as changing the account that owns a purchase.
