GTA 6 map leak: Rockstar removed four Leonida labels from a collection image

Rockstar’s new GTA VI merchandise set has created a small but credible map leak. The official store says the Vice City Collection includes a double-sided souvenir poster with a map of all Leonida on the reverse. Notebookcheck reports that Rockstar initially published a product photo in which four destination labels were visible, then replaced it with an edited version. Two names can be read as ‘Sandbars’ and ‘Crude Islands’; the other two are incomplete. The change is noteworthy, but the image does not reveal the full road network, playable boundaries or scale of GTA VI’s world.

What Rockstar confirms about the poster

The Rockstar Store lists a double-sided souvenir poster among the Vice City Collection’s 11 items. Its front carries Vice City and Leonida artwork built around the fictional Macca the Gator show. Rockstar describes the reverse as a map of all Leonida and invites buyers to plan a road trip across the ‘Goodtime State.’ That establishes that an official state map exists as a physical collectible. It does not make every detail seen in an earlier promotional image an announced location.

The labels visible before the image changed

Notebookcheck reports that the first product photo showed labels near the exposed edge of the folded poster. ‘Sandbars’ and ‘Crude Islands’ were readable. Two additional labels were only partial, beginning with ‘Dra’ and ‘Beld’ according to the outlet. Rockstar then replaced the product image with a version that no longer shows the four names. Because GTA 6 Watch did not archive the first store page independently, the sequence is reported as Notebookcheck’s documented observation rather than as a first-hand finding.

Why the partial names should stay partial

Community researchers have linked the ‘Dra’ fragment to Draper Island, a name they say appears in public footage around Port Gellhorn. That is a plausible identification, not an official confirmation. The ‘Beld’ reading is even less secure. Expanding either fragment into a finished place name would turn an indistinct label into a fact the source does not support. The defensible report is therefore limited to two readable names and two incomplete ones.

What the poster cannot settle about GTA VI’s map

The product photo shows only part of a stylized souvenir map, much of it covered by the poster’s front design. It cannot establish the game world’s total area, coastline accuracy, road density or travel time. Differences from community maps may reflect illustration choices, perspective or incomplete evidence rather than a redesign. Until Rockstar publishes the reverse at usable resolution or shows the map in-game, claims that the official geography has grown, shrunk or disproved a specific reconstruction remain speculation.
