GTA 6 launch trailer arrives with November 19 still in sight

Rockstar’s official site now features the launch trailer. The new promotion keeps the November 19 console date and introduces music by Justice.

The launch trailer is now official

Rockstar has replaced the main video presentation on its GTA 6 website with a Launch Trailer. The same official page continues to list November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is a new piece of release marketing, not another postponement announcement. Readers can watch it through the official site linked in our sources, without following reuploads or purported leaked versions.

A short release, not a full gameplay demonstration

RockstarINTEL reports that the 90-second trailer appeared on Thursday, October 15 at 2 p.m. BST. Its account also identifies an end-card statement that the footage was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5, rather than a PS5 Pro. We verified the official trailer listing and read that report; this article is not a frame-by-frame technical analysis or an independent hands-on. In-game capture describes where the images were produced. It does not make an edited trailer equivalent to an uninterrupted session controlled by a player.

Jason and Lucia remain at the centre

The official synopsis follows Jason and Lucia after an easy score goes wrong and draws them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. Rockstar again emphasises their dependence on each other. That premise is sufficient context for a spoiler-light introduction: the new trailer does not need to be combined with alleged leaked story material to explain why the pair matter. We are not treating trailer editing as evidence of mission order, a particular ending or the amount of freedom available in every scene.

Justice supplies the musical connection

Rockstar’s separate music page now names Justice as the original score composers and promotes Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. RockstarINTEL identifies that single as the music accompanying this trailer. Our dedicated Justice article explains how the score differs from the game’s radio programming and the forthcoming album. The new Lock and Load illustration used here is promotional artwork by Rockstar Games, reproduced via RockstarINTEL, not a screenshot demonstrating performance.

What this does and does not settle

The trailer gives the launch campaign a fresh centrepiece and keeps the announced console date visible. It does not announce a PC release, a review embargo or the launch schedule for a separate online mode. Nor does the phrase Launch Trailer guarantee that Rockstar will publish no further videos. Claims about final resolution, frame rate or how a whole playthrough performs still require suitable technical evidence rather than a short promotional edit.
